RAVES ARE ILLEGAL. Get the fuck over it or get out. Raves are kind of shady, yes. Raves are a threat to society: raves promote and teach thought patterns and promote worldviews that while extremely beneficial to individuals (especially those individuals who are not mainstream and look for somewhere to fit in - such as those involved in academia or the art world) are HARMFUL to society. The theory, principal, and sentiment behind raves is anarchist and frankly anything that's anarchist or promotes anarchist thought is illegal. It's thoughtcrime.
Get over it. Get on with it. Or get out.

I am sick of dealing with people who can't take responsibility for raving and what they do - I believe you ought to recognize the legal/social status of your activies and own up or don't do it.
Someone wants to go to raves and hear the music and enjoy the "fun" but does not want to deal with people who are interragated fully into mainstream propaganda thinking they are bad or doing something wrong is NOT someone I want to associate with. Period. An easy way around this problem generally would be not to tell your business (and your friends' business) to everyone. However, in the event something should slip out take the heat for it and shut the fuck up - OR - try to change their mind by being the exception to those stereotypes. It is NOT appropriate to turn around and bad mouth your "raving friends" because you are too weak to deal with the activity.
These are not the kind of people any kind of scene needs to have involved in it.

This is possibly the only offence which I find unforgivable, not taking responsibility for your actions. Maybe I'm just a stuck up bitch, and if you want to say that that's just fine. I am and always will be personally accountable for my views.
